Be careful opening archives with WinRAR
Ryan Smith at HustleLabs has discovered a security hole in the archive program WinRAR. A buffer overflow can occur when a specially prepared archive in the LHA format is opened, allowing arbitrary code to be executed with the rights of the user currently logged in. Version 3.60 beta 7 has already remedied the problem; beta 8 is also available at the download site.
