how to protect yourself and who is to blame "root kits" 24 May 2010 11:14
Sounds like an IRQ conflict is being caused. I have yet to deal with
this one, but have dealt with countless root kits. They get into
systems by using scripts. So don't tell me that microsoft doesn't
know how they are infecting systems this is BS. First mistake is
asking norton what to do. This poor lame broken horse hasn't been
able to run for years. Noscript will keep them off, adware bytes is
most likely to be able to help once infected but if you can't regedit
you mines well format. Firefox noscript disables these scripts
(flash, java(They aren't doing there jobs by protecting and updating
there software as needed)) and will protect you from these root kits.
As anyone with high speed internet will be infected within seconds
and when it's made itself known it's to late. Root kits don't ask
they just download and install on there own.
Sounds like this one is hiding in the ADS? These things aren't by any
means stealth. Don't believe that blackhats are to blame here, They
go for stealth, so they can steal data that's there goal. These root
kits seem to be out to just destroy data and damage the OS, only the
RIAA and the MPAA has reason to do this. Probably the reason most
infected sites are pirate sites. There has even been reports of these
companies hiring there own hackers,, what are the odds?? They want to
blame pirates for there poor sales and not the poor products and the
econ that obama has worked so hard to crash. Guess they have paid a
lot and I believe there goal is to get people to disconnect there
computers from the internet.
Blackhats nor pirates are to blame for these root kits!
