Surely the only way to retrieve encrypted data is to know the key,
because the key is mathematically required in order to decrypt. So
if a single back-door password can be used to retrieve the data, this
must mean that the data wasn't actually encrypted in the first place.
Call me a conspiracy theorist, but I don't believe for a moment that
the certification authorities weren't aware of this huge hole.
