Signature provides the full security suite of a Secured USB Device 07 January 2010 08:04
I could recommend all affected users or owners of the commercialize
memory sticks a Fingerprint Encrypted USB stick called Signature for
your laptop in home environment or in public place with a high
security authentication biometric area sensor technology which
detects the points of your fingertip to gain access to its users ONLY
with storage capacity of 2GB,4GB and 8GB. With a unique feature
"Brute force prevention" that limits false fingerprint guesses and
self-destruct upon third party attack. This superior hardware storage
USB has also integrated with a high security software which scans any
internal/external hardware devices connected to your laptop and
Locking any Drives and Devices to deny access if unwanted and a
Application Launch Filter feature that filters any unwanted
application being launched.
Two good things about these top brand devices are large storage
capacity at a cheap price but lack of security which we need the most
importantly for a storage device with our confidential information in
it.
Even with a FIPS 140-2 Level 2 standard there are possibilities of
being hacked. Where are the standards of security measures to assure
users their data security?
