That's an interesting report, but to exploit the remaining
vulnerability in the client library, I believe the attacker needs to
be on the same subnet. This makes an remote attack impractical. So
while the theoretical vulnerability does indeed exist, there's no
realistic exploit, or at least not one where you'd be able to mount a
much more sophisticated attack anyway.
