How did the "carpet bombing" flaw get past Google's QA? 03 September 2008 17:51
It's completely and utterly unbelievable to me that such a serious,
well documented and publicized flaw like that made it past the QA
process?
That this is a beta is a moot point, someone was asleep at the
wheel...
I guess this adds credence to the common perception that Google
favours cool features and early releases over solid and secure coding
practices.
I'm very disappointed, mostly because I liked the browsing experience
with Chrome, but don't feel justified in trusting Google with my
browser.
I guess this confirms my faith in Firefox.
