1. Da der htpc so wenig wie möglich strom verbrauchen sollte.
2. Eine festplatte die auch nach langer laufzeit im 24/7 dauerbetrieb möglichst leise sein/bleiben sollte.
3. Möglichst hohe lese rate! Da auf einem htpc mehr "read io" abläuft als "write io".
Man kann unbesorgt sein diese SSD packt mehr als 50MB/sec+ (1080p datenrate).
Hier ein auszug meinem performance test auf ext4:
hdparm -tT /dev/sda
/dev/sda:
Timing cached reads: 1244 MB in 2.00 seconds = 621.98 MB/sec
Timing buffered disk reads: 246 MB in 3.01 seconds = 81.61 MB/sec
hdparm -tT --direct /dev/sda
/dev/sda:
Timing O_DIRECT cached reads: 460 MB in 2.00 seconds = 229.86 MB/sec
Timing O_DIRECT disk reads: 344 MB in 3.02 seconds = 114.07 MB/sec
Schreib-Test:
$ dd count=1k bs=1M if=/dev/zero of=/media/test.img
1024+0 records in
1024+0 records out
1073741824 bytes (1.1 GB) copied, 24.4625 s, 43.9 MB/s
