openSUSE Conf The openSUSE Project has announced that it is currently seeking submissions for talks, papers, tutorials and Birds of a Feather (BoF) sessions for this year's openSUSE Conference. The annual conference will take place from the 20th to the 23rd of October in Nurenberg, Germany.

The Program Committee says that, following up from last year's success, they "want to set up an even more exciting, inspiring and informative conference this year". Like last year, the motto for the 2010 conference is "Collaboration across Borders" and the organisers say that they hope the event will bring together users and developers from both inside and outside of the openSUSE community. Submissions will be chosen by the Program Committee and suggested topics include "Technology and Upstream Development", "Education and Science", "Business" and "User and Home".

More details, including submission requirements, are available on the openSUSE Conference 2010 Call for Papers web site. The deadline for submissions is the 31st of July. Those with accepted submissions will be notified on the 20th of August. The final programme will be posted at the end of August.
