isp control panel (ispCP) Omega has reached version 1.0.0 after being in development for two years. ispCP is an open source project for building a Multi Server Control and Administration Panel. The control panel can be used by an Internet Service Provider (ISP) on Unix and Linux systems. The ispCP Omega release is a fork of the Virtual Hosting Control Panel (VHCS) project, which is no longer being developed. The Omega release is a migration path from VHCS to ispCP.

ispCP Omega features include a Web mail application, an FTP application, a Web DBM application, a virtual hosting environment (website management, databases, email and ftp accounts) and an integrated support system. Omega is currently being released under a dual licence. The parts based on the VHCS project are licensed under the Mozilla Public Licence and the new code is provided under the Gnu Public Licence V2 (GPL). Once ispCP has been completely rewritten as fully integrated code it will be released under the single GPL V2 licence.

More details can be found in the provided documentation along with instructions on how to install ispCP. ispCP Omega is available to download now.
