credativ logo credativ, the open source support and consultancy business, which started ten years ago in Germany and then expanded into the UK in 2007, has announced that it is opening a San Diego support centre as the start of its expansion into the USA. The new support centre will, like credativ's European centres, provide support for "all major open source distributions and applications" specialising in, but not limited to, Debian, Ubuntu, CentOS, PostgreSQL, Asterisk, Nagios, Red Hat and OpenERP.

Meanwhile, Chris Halls, MD of credativ UK pointed to the growth the company had experienced in the UK saying "The growing reputation of our Open Source Support Centre in the UK has increased our turnover by 50 per cent in the last year and we are expanding our team to service our growing client base". To service this growth, credativ UK have appointed a new UK sales manager and added two support engineers to its staff.
