Zmanda introduce ZRM 3.1

At the MySQL Conference and Expo in Santa Clara, Zmanda have introduced an upgrade of its Zmanda Recover Manager. The new version 3.1 incorporates a visual log analyser which is aimed at allowing database administrators to easily identify operator errors, or malicious database changes and simply restore the affected data from previous backups.

Zmanda also announced it plans to release a MySQL to Sun Cloud Storage backup solution, which will allow administrators to create disaster recovery archives in the Sun Cloud Storage system when it becomes generally available this Summer.
