Zenoss 2.5 released

Zenoss, an open source IT management company, has announced the release of version 2.5 of its network monitoring and management software suite, code named "King Crab". The latest release of the open source software for monitoring applications, networks and servers features a new module for Amazon Elastic Compute Cloud (EC2) monitoring and more than forty new "community developed innovations", such as database monitoring, and a newly updated Event Console.

More details about the release can be found in the release notes. Zenos 2.5 is available to download for Mac OS X and various Unix and Linux systems. VMware virtual appliances for Windows, Mac OS X and Linux are also provided. Zenoss is released under version 2 of the GNU General Public License (GPLv2).
