Zend Server: PHP for enterprise

Almost two months after the beta version was released, Zend, the PHP company, has released Zend Server. Zend Server is a complete web application server for implementing PHP-based Web applications that includes the Zend Framework and the Zen Studio for Eclipse integrated development environment (IDE).

Zend Server works with popular databases, including Oracle, MySQL and Microsoft's SQL Server, and also supports Red Hat Enterprise Linux, Debian, Ubuntu and Windows Server. A Community Edition of Zend server is also available in addition to the commercial release. The commercial version of Zend Server starts at $1,195 per year and includes technical support, monitoring and diagnostic tools. A 30-day trial license is available.
