The latest release of the library is said to boost the performance of the Event Utility by up to three times, thanks to both memory and runtime optimisations. The event-flick and event-move gestures now use MSPointer events, and the galler-tap module has been integrated in to the event-tap core module. Other changes include improvements to Graphics and Charts, a node-scroll-info plugin which provides more events and methods related to scrolling, and a "major refactoring" of ScrollView that adds Forced-Axis, Dual-Axis, and Right-To-Left support.
Following the release of version 3.7.0, the developers released YUI 3.7.1 to correct encoding problems with their build for users self-hosting YUI and serving it with a non-UTF-8 encoding. The developers also note that future versions will be made available more often as the team transitions to a shorter release cycle.
Further information, including a full list of enhancements and fixes, can be found in the 3.7.0 change log; documentation, including user guides, examples and tutorials, are provided. YUI 3.7.1 is available from the downloads page. Source code for YUI is hosted on the project's GitHub page and is made available under a BSD Licence.
