Wolfire launches new Humble Indie Bundle games package
Effective immediately, The Humble Indie Bundle #2 is available from Wolfire. Customers can decide how much they wish to pay for this collection of five DRM-free games for Linux, Windows and Mac OS X. The package contains the games Braid, Cortex Command, Machinarium, Osmos and Revenge of the Titans, which would cost a total of $85 if purchased separately.
Customers can decide how much of their payment goes to each of the developers, the Child's Play Charity and the Electronic Frontier Foundation (EFF). In April of 2010 Wolfire offered five DRM-free games using this same model and, a short time later, some of the game developers released their source code.
Update (20-12-10): The second Humble Indie Bundle has already raised more than $1.1 million, with Linux users having the highest average purchase price at nearly $14 (approximately £9), while Mac users come in second at $8.53. The average purchase price for Windows users comes in at just over $6.
