WANdisco becomes Apache bronze sponsor
WANdisco, a company that recently caused controversy within the Apache Subversion community by announcing it planned to overhaul Subversion, has announced that it has become a sponsor of the Apache Software Foundation (ASF). David Richards, CEO of WANdisco said "The Apache Software Foundation have led the way in community open source development since 1999".
With a $5,000 per year donation, WANdisco has become a bronze sponsor of the ASF which is the lowest level of sponsorship available. WANdisco's business is based around supplying Apache Subversion based software such as Subversion MultiSite, Subversion Access Control and Subversion High Availability for enterprises.
