The Ubuntu Kernel Team have announced that they are now offering vanilla mainline kernel builds based on the code from kernel.org. The releases are aimed at developers wishing to test and resolve bugs. The kernels are being packaged for each stable release and current release candidate and are being made available as .deb files for installation. The builds do not contain any Ubuntu specific drivers and there are no restricted modules.

No official support is provided for the builds and are used at the users own risk.
