The developers of the open source wiki and content management system Tiki are celebrating a decade of the software's existence. The first public release of the project took place 9 October 2002, exactly ten years ago today. The developers can claim over 1,000,000 downloads of the application and are currently putting the finishing touches on version 10.0 of their project.

According to the developers, the Tiki Wiki has more than 500 developers with commit access and there are more than 20,000 registered users on the project's web site which is itself powered by a Tiki installation.
