Tiki Wiki CMS Groupware 6.0 beta release
The Tiki WiKi developers have announced that a beta of version 6.0 of the Tiki Wiki CMS Groupware is available to download. As a beta the developers do not recommend this version be used in a production environment, the final release of 6.0 is due at the end of October and will be a Long Term Support (LTS) version.
Version 6.0 contains more than 1,500 code changes by nearly 50 Tiki Developers. More information on the major enhancements and changes in Tiki Wiki CMS Groupware 6.0 is available from the List of Changes web page.
Tiki Wiki CMS Groupware, licensed under the LGPL 2.1, is a web-based application created by a large team of contributors using PHP, MySQL, Zend Framework, jQuery and Smarty. The developers say that Tiki can be used to build and maintain a web site, wiki, Groupware, CMS, forum, blog, bug tracker or any other project that might run in a browser window.
