The US National Security Agency released its security-enhanced version of Android, Linux developers addressed a networking problem that could be used to crash systems with a recent kernel and Google fired contractors who were vandalising OpenStreetMap while using Google's network. Canonical changed its mind about deleting Oracle's Sun Java packages from users' systems, and the CyanogenMod Team released an alpha build of its Android 4.0 "Ice Cream Sandwich" port for HP's TouchPad tablet.
