Talend: New funds, new version
Talend has released version 4.0 of its data integration platform. The software combines Talend's data integration, data quality monitoring and master data management (MDM) solutions. Version 4 of the Open Studio, Open Profiler and Talend MDM Community Edition products are now available to download free of charge under the GPL license. The Integration Suite, Talend Data Quality and Talend MDM Enterprise Edition with additional services are available on a subscription basis.
The vendor has also announced that a further financing round involving the injection of $8 million by existing investors Balderton Capital, AGF Private Equity and Galileo Partners has been finalised. Talend says that it intends to use the funds to continue its software development.
