T3CON11 Logo The T3CON11 organisers have announced that they are seeking submissions for this year's conference, the largest event focusing on the TYPO3 open source content management system. The seventh international conference will take place from 6 to 8 October in Frankfurt, Germany at the Congress Park Hanau (CPH) and is expected to have around 500 participants in attendance from over 30 countries.

This year's motto is "Flow to Five", for version 5.0 of of TYPO3 which is currently under development. The event organisers are inviting community members, open source experts, decision makers and developers to submit proposals for talks and tutorials for the upcoming event. Talks should be detailed and in-depth, covering TYPO3 4.x, 5.0 and FLOW3 (TYPO3's PHP Application Framework), as well as problem solving using extensions.

The Call for Papers (CFP) deadline is 31 July. Submissions will then be voted on by the Paper Committee and the conference programme will be announced on 4 August.

More information about the TYPO3 conference can be found on the T3CON11 web site, which is also the first site to be powered by version 5.0 of TYPO3. Early Bird tickets will be available from 15 June. Videos of past TYPO3 conferences, including the 2010 keynote, are available online.
