SugarCRM, the customer relationship management company, has announced that this year's global SugarCon will take place in April at the Palace Hotel, San Francisco, on 4-6 April 2011.

This year's conference theme is “The Future of Business is Open” and conference events will offer advice on taking advantage of current major trends such as mobile solutions, social networking and cloud computing. An outline agenda is available on the SugarCRM web site and currently lists six topics. Overall, SugarCon promises over 100 sessions.

Larry Augustin, CEO of SugarCRM said “SugarCon 2011 will bring together not only SugarCRM customers, developers and partners, but will also be a destination for anyone seeking open, flexible business solutions, be it mobile solutions, social media tools, or traditional business optimization tools...”

SugarCRM is currently accepting submissions for talks at SugarCon and the submission deadline is 31 January. Registration for the conference is open, with fees ranging from $199 (£130) to $299 (£194).
