"Squeeze" to be the next Debian

The Debian Linux release after Debian 5.0 "Lenny" is finalised will be named "Squeeze". With the rapid approach of the final release of Debian Linux 5.0 "Lenny", the Debian developers are focussing on freezing and testing the code base. In "another issue of our highly successful motivational status updates" the Debian developers talked about the freezing and testing work, but also took time to announce the continuation of their tradition of naming Debian releases after characters in the Toy Story movies. "Squeeze" is the name of the small three headed aliens found in the vending machine, waiting to be picked up by the machine's claw to be taken to a better place.
