Organised by German information security and data protection specialist SerNet, the 10th international Samba conference, Samba eXPerience 2011 will take place in Göttingen, Germany from the 9th to the 11th of May.

The conference organisers have issued a call for papers, presentations, tutorials and workshops. Those wishing to attend the conference can register now on the SambaXP web site. A discount is available for early bird registration until the 28th of February.

Suggested conference topics include:

  • Active Directory integration
  • Samba and ADS
  • Integration of an external LDAP server
  • Authentication and Identity Management
  • Clustering (HA and HPC)
  • Implementation of business applications with Samba

The organisers note that talks should last approximately 45 minutes including discussion and, if possible, should be in English, however this is not a formal condition. The detailed program for the Samba eXPerience will be published in early March.
