The new C#-SQLite project (CSharp-SQLite) is a Windows C# port of the SQLite software library. C#-SQLite has been ported into managed code and uses the latest 3.6.16 release of SQLite.

According to the project's FAQ page, the C#-SQLite independent reimplementation of the SQLite software library is, as of the initial release, between 4 to 5 times slower than the SQLite .dll version. Out of over 30,000 tests, the latest 3.3.16 release of C#-SQLite from the 5th of August only reported two errors.

So far, the C#-SQLite managed code, written in C#, has only been tested on the 32-bit version of Windows Vista. C#-SQLite code is released under the MIT License and content is released under the Creative Commons 3.0 license.
