Release Candidate for KDE 4.2

The KDE developers have released the only planned Release Candidate of KDE 4.2. The release is code named "Cilense" and represents the opportunity to discover and report the last few bugs before the final version of KDE 4.2, which is due for release on the 27th of January.

KDE 4.2-RC (the internal version number is 4.1.96) is available now as source code and will be available very soon as pre-compiled binaries for Kubuntu 8:10. Turnkey Packages for other distributions are expected shortly.

Also available is the last planned update for the current 4.1 release – KDE 4.1.4.
