Red Hat Summit & JBoss World 2012 dates confirmed

Red Hat Logo Following the recent conclusion of the 2011 events, open source solutions vendor Red Hat has announced that the eighth annual Red Hat Summit and JBoss World will take place from 26 to 29 June 2012 in Boston at the Hynes Convention Center. The US open source events, aimed at business decision makers, developers and community enthusiasts, is traditionally used by Red Hat to introduce new products and updates to its portfolio.

Summit JBoss World Logo Discussing the announcement, Paul Cormier, Executive VP and President of Products and Technologies at Red Hat said: "The 2011 Red Hat Summit and JBoss World just concluded after an action-packed week that drew record attendance levels," adding that, "The Red Hat Summit continues to grow each year at an impressive rate."

The 2012 event will mark the fourth time that the Red Hat Summit and JBoss World have been held in Boston. Although Red Hat acquired JBoss in April of 2006, the two events have only been linked since 2009. A call for papers announcement will take place later this year and registration will open in early 2012.
