Talend logo Talend has expanded its product portfolio to include a tool for real time data intergration. The new Talend Integration Suite RTx (Real Time Extension) is based on Talend's enterprise level data integration platform, but offers the ability to create up-to-the-minute reporting and analysis.

The new RTx product should, according to Talend, integrate seamlessly with Service Oriented Architectures (SOA) and Message Oriented Middleware (MOM) infrastructures, as it offers automated WDSL, UDDI and SOAP generation and can be activated through RPC, HTTP, socket calls and JMS-based events. RTX, like other Talend products is available on a subscription basis.

The announcement of RTX follows on from the company's May announcement of a high scalability version of the Integration Suite, MPx and the release of the companies GPLv2 licensed Open Studio 3.1.
