Ruby 1.9.1rc - The Ruby developers have announced a release candidate for Ruby 1.9.1. This release is designed to be the first stable version of Ruby 1.9 and incorporates fixes for 72 bugs, plus some new features. For those unfamiliar with the changes in Ruby 1.9 compared to the current Ruby 1.8.x, a presentation by Sam Ruby outlines the major differences.

Ubiquity 0.1.3 - The Ubiquity plugin for Firefox has been updated with a new look, support for CSS based skins and faster response. The "command line for the browser" has also gained an improved memory for frequently used commands. Atul Varma has more details about the internal changes to Ubiquity posted on his blog.
