Liquibase 1.8.0 – LiquiBase, the LGPL licensed, Java library for tracking, managing and applying database changes which also has an IDE plugin for developers, has been updated to version 1.8.0. New in this version is SQLite support, improvements to precondition checking and numerous bug fixes.

JFreeChart 1.0.11 – The LGPL licensed Java charting library, JFreeChart, has been seen a 1.0.11 release. The new release incorporates a chart theming mechanism to allow for easier restyling of charts and many enhancements and bug fixes.

PostgreSQL – The PostgreSQL developers have released updates for all maintained versions of PostgreSQL, specifically versions 8.3.4, 8.2.10, 8.1.14 and 8.0.18. The updates fix more than thirty minor issues which have been patched over the last three months and add timezone support updates for eight countries.

ZFS on Fuse – The ZFS on Fuse project for Linux has jumped back into life; 18 months after the 0.4.0_beta1 release, the developers have released version 0.5.0 of the user space file system driver to support the ZFS file system. The new version is now resynchronised to the ZFS code in OpenSolaris build 98.
