Re:Versions - JBoss Seam 2.1 and Talend Open Studio 3.0

JBoss Seam 2.1 - JBoss, a division of Red Hat, has released JBoss Seam 2.1GA. Seam is a web application framework for Java developers, which combines Enterprise JavaBeans (EJB3) and JavaServer Faces. Seam 2.10 features an identity management with ACL permissions, Excel reporting, built in URL rewriting support and a preview of JAX-RS REST support along with many other enhancements. JBoss Seam is licensed under the LGPL and can be downloaded from the web site.

Talend Open Studio 3.0 - Open Studio 3.0 has been released by Talend. Open Studio is a business modelling application which can generate transformative scripts in Perl or Java to implement business models. New in the 3.0 release is SAP support allowing SAP data to be transferred out to other information systems and ELT (Extract, Load, Transform) functions to allow modifications and revisions to be performed on the data during transfer. Talend Open Studio is licensed under the GPL2 and available to download and runs under Linux and Windows.
