RapidMiner 5.0 Beta released

rapidminer The Rapid-I developers have announced the release of the first beta for version 5.0 of their open source data mining application called RapidMiner. The beta release of the data analysis tool features a revised and simplified user interface and new repositories. A new flow design is also included to make process creation easier and quick fixes "simplify the design of complex analysis processes".

RapidMiner is available as a free Community Edition, as well as a commercial Enterprise Edition on a yearly subscription basis. The Enterprise Edition includes additional features and access to professional support. The final version of RapidMiner 5 is expected to be available at the end of November.

More details about the release can be found in the official release announcement in the Quick Tour video. The RapidMiner 5.0 Beta is available to download. RapidMiner Community Edition is released under the GNU Affero General Public License (AGPL).
