RapidMiner 5.0 Beta released

rapidminer The Rapid-I developers have announced the release of the first beta for version 5.0 of their open source data mining application called RapidMiner. The beta release of the data analysis tool features a revised and simplified user interface and new repositories. A new flow design is also included to make process creation easier and quick fixes "simplify the design of complex analysis processes".

RapidMiner is available as a free Community Edition, as well as a commercial Enterprise Edition on a yearly subscription basis. The Enterprise Edition includes additional features and access to professional support. The final version of RapidMiner 5 is expected to be available at the end of November.
