Qt logo Nokia's Qt Software, developers of the GUI toolkit Qt, have announced that Qt version 4.5.2 is now available. The release is a bug fix and performance update to the tool kit, but the developers point out that this is the first release since Qt development repositories were opened in May. As such, this is also the first release to contain code directly contributed by the community.

The new release is available to download at the Qt Software site and the change log details the changes. Developers who want to get involved in the development of Qt are directed to qt.gitorious.org where the repositories reside.
