Josh Berkus, a core contributor to the PostgreSQL open source database, has announced a web design contest to re-design PostgreSQL.org. The contest is in two stages. The first will be for a design mock-up and will be judged by a panel of PostgreSQL community members. The first prize winner will receive $1,000 and advance to the next stage which will involve the implementation of the winning design. Once the new design is complete and goes live on the site, an additional $1,000 will be awarded to the winner.

The final date for contest entries is July 3, 2009. More details about the contest can be found on the Contest Requirements Page.
