Parted Magic 4.10 released
Parted Magic developer Patrick Verner has announced the release of version 4.10 of his open source, multi-platform partitioning tool. Parted Magic can be used to create, move, delete and resize drive partitions and will run on a machine with as little as 64MB of RAM. File systems supported include NTFS, FAT, ReiserFS, Reiser4 and HFS+. LVM and RAID are also supported.
Parted Magic 4.10 is based on the 2.6.32.11 Linux kernel and features several new programs, including version 1.16.1 of the BusyBox tool collection and the latest 429 release of the UNetbootin utility for creating LiveUSB systems. Package updates include version 1.5.0 of the SimpleBurn CD and DVD software, and the 2.2 release of the SSH File System using FUSE. The developers also note that, by default, FAT32 file systems now mount as UTF8 and that a bug that crashed the Chromium web browser when creating bookmarks has been fixed.

Parted Magic is released under version 2 of the GNU General Public License (GPLv2).
