Oracle Enterprise Linux updated

Oracle Unbreakable Linux logo Oracle has updated its Linux distribution for enterprise deployment. Oracle Enterprise Linux Release 5 Update 4 is now in step with Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5.4 which was released earlier this month. Oracle's distribution, promoted under the name Unbreakable Linux, is a clone of Red Hat's offerings. The database vendor competes with Red Hat on the quality and price of support.

The release is available to download, after registration, as installation images for 32 and 64 bit systems. A change log lists the changes made, including bug fixes by Oracle. More information about Unbreakable Linux is available on the ULN (Unbreakable Linux Network).
