Opsera have announced that Opsview Community edition 3.7.0 is now available. The network management system, based on Nagios, includes enhancements to notifications, both in terms of control and methods, an option to alert on every failure and support for Ubuntu 10.04 LTS. Other improvements include SNMPv3 support with MRTG, flap detection, faster importing, uptime checks which can cope with 32bit counter roll over and among the community contributions in Opsview 3.7.0 is a Spanish translation.

Opsview 3.7.0 now uses Nagios Core 3.2.1 and, say the developers, has improved out of the box monitoring capabilities. A full list of the changes and bug fixes is available and a screencast with Ton Voon, Opsview Product Architect, shows a demonstration of the new features. Opsview Community Edition 3.7.0 is available to download as source or binaries (for RHEL5, CentOS5, Debian, Ubuntu, Solaris 10 or a VMWare Player image).
