As part of an OEM partnership with Pentaho, the Spanish software producer Openbravo is going to incorporate business intelligence (BI) functions in its open source ERP suite. Integrating BI modules into Openbravo ERP is intended to improve the analysis and evaluation of company data that has been accumulated. Openbravo plans to provide this expansion of its capabilities before the end of the year.

The modularly structured business intelligence suite from Pentaho contains components for data integration, mining, analysis and reporting. Version 2.0 of the core of the software, the Pentaho BI platform, will be supplied under the GPL 2 licence and is expected this autumn.
