Palo logo Jedox has bundled its range of software into the Palo BI Suite 3.0, which combines the Freiburg company's free in-memory Palo OLAP server, Worksheet Server, and ETL Server. The suite is available both in an enterprise version with support and maintenance, and in a community version that the manufacturer says is functionally equivalent. It can also be operated 'in the cloud', in Amazon's EC2 for example, in the form of software as a service (SaaS).

At the centre of the Palo BI suite is the Palo Multidimensional Online Analytical Processing (MOLAP) server, largely developed by Jedox and available in version 3 since the start of this month. Palo has added analysis and reporting capabilities to Worksheet Server. The Palo ETL Server searches databases and data warehouses, extracts and transforms data, and imports them into Palo Server. Jedox will be presenting its new suite at road shows in various European cities from 14 May to 9 June.
