The Open Source Business Foundation (OSBF) has announced that it's now accepting entries for its Open Source Business Award 2010. The Open Source Business Award is being presented in two different categories, "OSBA - Business Solutions" and "OSBA - Technology". The Business Solutions category is for companies using open source software and the Technology category is specifically aimed at software manufacturers. Three awards will be given in each category and a total of €75,000 (£64,500) in prize money will be awarded.

Although OSBF is based in Germany, the competition is open to businesses throughout Europe. The closing date for entries is the 31st of August and the winners will be announced at the Open Source Meets Business 2010 conference taking place from the 26th to the 28th of January, 2010 in Nuremberg, Germany.
