Nominations open for 2011 Eclipse Community Awards
The Eclipse Foundation has announced that it is accepting nominations for its annual Eclipse Community Awards. The awards recognise the top individuals, projects and technologies in the Eclipse ecosystem.
Individual and project winners will be selected by their peers in an online vote by the community, while winners of the technology awards will be selected by a panel of judges selected from Eclipse-oriented editors and Eclipse project leaders. The Eclipse Community Awards 2011 winners will be announced at next year's EclipseCon conference, which will take place from the 21st to the 24th of March in Santa Clara, California.
The deadline for nominations is the 28th of January, 2011. The winners of the 2010 Eclipse Community Choice winners can be found via the link below.
The foundation also notes that although submissions for papers to be presented at EclipseCon 2011 has officially closed, late submissions will be considered if they are of exceptional quality or fill an obvious gap in the programme.
