Nokia developer talks about QT coming to Mozilla and Firefox

At KDE Akademy 2008, Nokia developer Oleg Romaxa was interviewed by KDE News about Nokia's work to make a QT port of Mozilla and Firefox. Trolltech, the developer of the QT GUI toolkit behind KDE, was recently acquired by Nokia.

He talks about how the motivation for the project and how it only took five days to do the initial port with the help of a Mozilla team sent to Finland. The current state of the QT port is also discussed and how Nokia plan to manage the QT Firefox/Mozilla alongside the work they do with QtWebkit, based on the WebKit open source browser library from Apple.
