New version of Linux Test Project
The Linux Test Project, which was started by SGI and is supported by IBM, has released version 0.7 of its test suite. The LTP is a collection of tests to assess the stability, reliability and standard conformity of Linux systems. The tests mainly focus on kernel-related features, such as the file system, network, threading, scheduler and memory management. For testing other system aspects, the LTP developers have compiled a Test Tool Table with a large number of additional stability and performance tests.
