Beagle Board, the 3 by 3 inch OMAP based board, has been updated to revision C and is now available in the UK for £111.45, or $149 in the US. The new version of the card has twice the memory, 256MB, of the previous version. The OMAP processor, an OMAP3530, incorporates an ARM Cortex A8 core with a graphics engine, DSP and video accelerators.

I/O on the board has also been expanded with an additional USB connector and an LCD expansion connector added, along with PWM (pulse width modulation) signals on the standard expansion connector for controlling motors in robotic devices. The rev C Beagle Board retains the USB 2.0 On-the-Go port, SD card slot and DVI-D output capabilities. The Beagle Board is capable of running Linux and HD video and its GPL'd design has allowed it to be used as the basis for devices such as the Always Innovating Touch Book, a touch screen Linux netbook.
