A new Humble Indie Bundle was launched today and, for the first time, users who have purchased the games will be able to install them directly from the Ubuntu Software Centre. The latest bundle includes Amnesia: The Dark Descent, LIMBO, Psychonauts and Superbrothers: Sword & Sworcery EP. As usual with the Humble Indie Bundle, all games are cross-platform and DRM-free and customers can choose their own price to pay for them. If a customer pays more than the current average purchase price, the game Bastion will also be unlocked.

As well as choosing their own price, customers can opt to also support several charities when they buy the games; for this bundle, the charities are Childs Play and the EFF. The bundle will be available to purchase for fourteen days.

To make it possible for users to download their purchases from the Ubuntu Software Centre, Canonical announced that it has partnered with Wolfire Games, the organisers of the bundle, to deliver the software natively on Ubuntu. In the past, several of the games in Humble Indie Bundles were open sourced, but all of the games included in this bundle are currently proprietary software and it is not known if the developers plan to open source any of them.
