Eclipse logo The Eclipse developers have started searching for a name for the successor of the annual collective release of coordinated Eclipse projects, currently called Indigo. The relevant report on Bugzilla states that suggested names are to start with a letter greater than "I". Preference will reportedly be given to the names of moons, ancient gods and famous scientists. These stipulations follow the Eclipse community tradition of previous releases, which were called Callisto, Europa, Ganymede, Galileo, Helios and Indigo.

The call for suggestions also states that preference will be given to the letter "J", and first suggestions such as Juno, Jupiter, Jubilate, Janus, Jasmine, Jason, Jura, Jackalope and Juliet have already been posted. Further suggestions will be collected until 7 March, and then the "Eclipse Planning Council" will decide on the new name.
