LiMo Foundation.jpg Motorola, a co-founder of the LiMo Foundation, has resigned from the organisation's board and is now involved in an "associate member" capacity only. Although the company is still listed as a founding member in the organisation's bylawsPDF, it's no longer listed as such in the current membership list.

According to reports, Motorola is looking to switch its focus towards the Android platform. The company is quoted as stating that the LiMo Foundation's objective was to create a uniform Linux platform for mobile devices, but that Android now offers a better basis for doing so.
