Bing logo Microsoft is released a Software Development Kit that allows developers to create applications on Cocoa (Mac OS X) and Cocoa Touch (iPhone) that can use Microsoft's Bing search engine. The iBing SDK is available under the Microsoft Public License.

The Bing SDK allows developers to do synchronous and asynchronous queries to Bing and search for web sites, images, videos, news and phone books. The SDK provides a Bing class which offers a simple API which supports both types of queries and simultaneous searches over multiple sources. The Bing instance requires a Bing AppID to connect to Bing, which is available from the Bing developer site.
