Mandriva Enterprise Server 5.1 released
Mandriva has announced the availability of the first point update to version 5 of its Enterprise Server commercial Linux distribution. Mandriva Enterprise Server 5.1 includes all of the distributions previous updates and a number of improvements.
According to Mandriva, the latest maintenance update focuses on virtualisation and improves integration of Kernel-based Virtual Machine (KVM) technology. Other changes include updates to the installation wizard and Mandriva Directory Server (MDS). Each copy of Mandriva Enterprise Server 5.1, available as a download, starts at €299 (£272) with one year of maintenance. A box of 2 DVDs costs an additional €20.

The latest release of the company's desktop Linux operating system is Mandriva Linux 2010.0. Mandriva Linux 2010 Spring is currently in development and is scheduled to be released on June 3, 2010.
